Skyla's Arrival:
Naomi-(carving) Im not sure what this ones going to be I think it look like a Swan.
Owen-(doing H.W) Bycicle is one of my spelling words! I might get one! Ugghh how I want a bycicle.
Skyla- (knocks)
(Naomi and Owen look up)
Gramp-Fabiola is quite early. (Shrugs) Oh well, the earlier the better I suppose.
Narrator-Fabiola and her husband Bernardo are the next door neighbors of the Outlaws and they are almost like family. Fabiola comes over every night, Monday through friday to watch, " The wheel of Fortune" with Gram. She has been Gram's sewing partner for over 30 years.
Owen-(Excited and enthusiastic) Maybe she's here to play a quick game of Checkers with me!
Naomi-(Smiling) You know she wouldn't stand a chance against the champ.
Owen-Maybe she's been practicing.
Naomi- Ya maybe (puts soap carving down) ok im done with my swan
Skyla-Hello? I hear voices, is anyone going to let me in?
Owen-(Whispering) That doesn't sound like Fabiola.
Gram-(adjusts hair curlers) (Whispers) Naomi are you accpecting company?
Naomi-(shakes her head) no gram
Gram-Well I'm not buying anything thank you very much.
Skyla-Are you going to let me in or what its raining cats and dogs out here!
Naomi-(looks confused)who is it? should I go open the door Gram?
Gram-I'll get it naomi (opens the door a little and then all the way and stares at Skyla)
Owen- (waves a hand over his face and stares at Naomi to signal Skyla's perfume and coughs)
Skyla-(flips bag over her soulder and stares at Gram) Well. Aren't you going to say something?
Gram-T-terri Lynn?
Skyla-Its Skyla now because Clive my boyfriend says Im not a Terry Lynn he says i look like the sky so I changed my name to Skyla, soo call me Skyla now.
Gram-Why are you here Terry Lynn?
Skyla-I've run into a little bit of trouble, but I'd love it if you mind your own buisness. I'd also appreciate it if you called me Skyla.
Gram-(looks serious) What kind of trouble?
Skyla-(shrugs a little, and then looks at Naomi and Owen)Hi guys!
Naomi-(twiches) Ummm?
Owen-(gulps)
Gram-(looks down at the floor) I'm not quite sure they remember you.
narator-Skyla abandonned Naomi and Owen when they where very young so Gram raised them until now,7 years later. Gram had never told Naomi and Owen much about their parents and so they know very little about them.
Skyla-Well of course they do! I am there mother after all.They can't forget their own mother!
Skyla-Well dont you?
Owen-Our-our mother?!
Narrator- Skyla is not married but she has a boyfriend who changed Skyla's old name, Terri Lyn, to Skyla.
Skyla-Well silly, who else?
Naomi-(bites her lip)r-r-really?
Gram-Naomi and Owen please go to your room I need to have a word with Terri Lynn.

Naomi-Ok G-G-Gram come on Owen-n (Naomi and Owen leave the auditorium)
Gram-(in a calming voice) Terri, where have you been all these years(cuts short)
Gram- And why did you abandon your own children and I'm also talking about just comming here and telling these kids your their mother.
